Skyrim-Style RPG Tainted Grail Launches on Steam 1.0 with Exciting New Features

Tainted Grail is coming to Steam 1.0 soon inspired by Oblivion Skyrim and top fantasy RPGs with some exciting extras.

We are currently in a great time for fantasy RPGs. Oblivion Remastered brings back the 2006 classic for modern players. Baldur's Gate 3 has made CRPGs popular again. Elden Ring showed that Fromsoftware’s tough challenges work in open worlds. There are so many different fantasy games now each offering a unique experience. Soon Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon inspired by Skyrim and Oblivion will be added to this collection as it gets ready for its full release.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is a fantasy RPG. You enter a world based on the Arthurian legend stuck in endless autumn. You decide how to shape the land by exploring talking to characters choosing your playstyle and completing quests. Your choices will determine the legacy of King Arthur’s reign after 600 years of conflict.

If you have played games like Skyrim Oblivion or Avowed you'll enjoy Tainted Grail. It lets you do activities like alchemy, cooking, mining farming managing a house and even fishing because what's a fantasy world without fishing? Developer Questline has been improving the game since its early access release in 2023 and it is almost ready to launch its full version.

When Tainted Grail leaves Steam Early Access you will get the full game. This includes three regions to explore up to 70 hours of gameplay a main story with choices over 200 side quests and more than 250 NPCs dungeons weapons and more. It is the complete experience with a special bonus for both new and returning players.

Questline has confirmed that Tainted Grail 1.0 will include a third-person mode. While it might not be perfect at first it will give players a new way to experience the game. Questline added this feature to improve accessibility which I really appreciate. As someone who often switches between perspectives in games like Skyrim and Oblivion I will definitely try out the third-person mode in Tainted Grail.

The release date for Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon 1.0 is confirmed for Friday May 23. You can buy the Steam Early Access version or try the free demo.
