While Waiting for the Splinter Cell Remake, One Fan Improves the Original Game

It’s been a long time since a new Splinter Cell game. How long? 11 years since Splinter Cell Blacklist.

Without random appearances in Ubisoft's other games like Rainbow Six Siege or the now-closed XDefiant. we probably wouldn't hear about Sam Fisher.

Fear not Don't worry, though. One fan has worked on improving the original Splinter Cell and the project is now available for everyone to try.

Embracing the Fine I'll Do It Myself Energy

Splinter Cell Enhanced is just what its name suggests an improved version of the original game that helped shape the stealth genre in 2022.

There are new loading screens that make the story more accurate along with two new levels Nuclear Power Plant and Severonickel. There's also a new Elite challenge mode with no starting ammo or quicksaves.

There are also some cool customization options for Sam along with features like better controller support and the ability to use Thermal Vision in every level.

The Splinter Cell remake was announced in 2021. but we have not heard much since. The project is still not canceled though it is unclear when we will hear more about it.
