Apex Legends Arenas is coming back in Season 25 as a limited-time mode more than two years after it was removed. There will also be a 1v1 version.
A few days ago it was hinted at and now it's confirmed Apex Legends is bringing back its popular Arenas mode. If you don’t remember it or are new to the game Arenas is a 3v3 mode similar to games like Valorant and Counter-Strike. Each round has a 30-second break where you can use points to buy weapons armor and abilities. To win a round your team just needs to defeat all three players on the other team no extra tasks like bomb planting or zone capturing just a simple fight.
Arenas was added in Season 9 of Apex as a permanent game mode to attract new players and give current players a break from the usual battle royale gameplay. It also got a ranked mode to make it a competitive experience. However in February 2023 at the end of Season 15 Arenas was removed and has not been seen since.
Arenas is coming back next week for Season 25 as a Limited Time Mode (LTM) and after more than two years you will finally be able to play it again. However it won’t be exactly the same as before. There will be new weapons legends and features that will make it feel fresh. The main change is that now. it's just a race to win three rounds first no need to win by two rounds. You will also get health items for free at the start of each round instead of having to buy them which will let you focus more on upgrading your weapons.
Arenas will start as a 3v3 mode when Season 25 begins. but Respawn says it will change to a 1v1 mode called Arena Duels halfway through the season.
Apex Legends Arenas mode is back at the start of Season 25 on Tuesday May 6. The new season also brings a new legend Sparrow updates to the Bocek Bow and a few changes to Pathfinder's abilities giving players lots to explore.
