A new Diablo 4 update is Coming and it's good news for players. Blizzard is boosting all classes in the game. With Season 8 going strong instead of nerfing characters. they are making weaker builds stronger. Barbarians and Spiritborns are getting the biggest improvements but other builds might also become more popular. The update also adds a new way to use extra Spectral Ash and includes bug fixes that could change the games rankings.

No matter what class you choose in Diablo 4 Season 8. You might want to try out the improved skills. One of the most popular builds the Whirlwind Barbarian is going to be much stronger. The Aspect of Dire Whirlwind will increase your crit damage and Gohr's Devastating Grips a key unique item now has more explosions and a change that could double your damage. Also the Twin Strikes unique for Double Swing will get a big power boost.

There’s even more good news for other RPG characters. Spiritborn is getting major improvements with almost every popular build getting stronger except those focused on poison. The Druid's human form should be better now because the Humanity passive reduces damage taken and there’s more movement speed with the new Gathlen's Birthright item. Necromancers also get bigger damage boosts from Skeletal Priests and the Aspect of Reanimation.

The damage from Rogue's Poison Trap has been increased and you Will get more benefits from the Band of Ichorous Rose and the Aspect of Contamination. Sorcerer's Ice Shards are stronger now thanks to extra damage from the Hail of Verglas unique and the Glacial Aspect will trigger from things like the Blizzard enchantment not just by casting it.

Apart from the buffs there are some other changes to note. If you have maxed out your boss powers in Season 8 and have extra Spectral Ash you can now exchange it with Sayeena for Unveiler's Oath reputation helping you level up faster. Two boss powers have been improved: Sinerat's Flames now does 75% damage instead of 50% and Hatred's Embrace no longer loses its haste bonus when you switch weapons.

There are some bug fixes and small changes that might actually be more important than they first appear. Spiritborn's Aspect of Unyielding Hits now properly works with Varshan's Life Steal, Belial's Crystal Decoy and Ashava's Poison boss powers which could give a big damage boost. The Belial's Eye Beams modifier also now gives its Overpower bonus more reliably when you go into stealth.

Diablo 4 patch 2.2.1 will be released on Wednesday May 14. You can check out the full patch notes from Blizzard to see all the Changes.
