In Foundry you land on an alien planet in a world made of blocks. Your goal is to build a huge robot-powered factory. To do this you gather resources build big machines research new tech and spread industry everywhere. You’ll also deal with space trade on your way to total industrial control.


Paradox has released a building game that seems to be their take on the popular game Satisfactory. It’s not the same though the game has a blocky Minecraft-like style and lets you build huge factories however you want.

Channel 3 Entertainment first launched Foundry in Steam Early Access and has now released the second major update Galactic Commerce. This update adds robot production and interstellar trade giving you a fresh new challenge.

The new galaxy map creates a system at the start of each game. You’ll unlock sectors and get trade licenses to sell your robots to other planets while managing supply routes between worlds. You can also trade resources on the galactic market and compete with other space megacorps for power.

Space stations have been completely updated. There are more upgrades a management system a research lab to gain XP and levels and the ability to provide your own spaceship fuel. You can create and sell new robots choose a company name and logo and enjoy many new quests, features and ways to explore all the new content in update 2.

The pipe flow has been improved with better simulations and performance. You can also check out the new Tundra biome, lava caves and smelters along with new creatures and plants in other parts of the world.
