Legacy: Steel and Sorcery is a fantasy game in Steam Early Access. It mixes shooter and role-playing elements. The creators were inspired by mistakes made in World of Warcraft and wanted to make a simpler more focused version of that kind of game. A few months after launch the game is now adding wizards as new characters you can play.
This online game already had some magic. There are four other classes: Warrior, Rogue, Hunter and Priest. Priests can use light to attack enemies. But wizards can do similar things without needing help from a god which makes them better by default.
In Legacy: Steel and Sorcery wizards can use a few different attacks. Their main weapon is the Emberstaff which lets them shoot icy magic from far away. They can also slow down enemies by rewinding time, kind of like in a music video.
The wizard might not have tons of powers yet, but Notorious Studios plans to add more. One cool idea is a system where you can mix elements like fire and ice to make things like fog. We're also hoping you can use ice to make enemies slip around kind of like in Mortal Kombat. That would be pretty fun to watch.
The update called Season 1 adds many new things like two new maps and weekly quests. The game usually costs money but right now you can play it for free this weekend. If you like it the game is 25% off on Steam So it costs $18.47 or £16.49.
