First Look: New Sim Game Mixing Cities Skylines & Factorio

Worldwide Rush is a big simulation game that mixes city building flying and world strategy and you can play it now.

Most simulation games focus on specific topics or places to keep things simple. For example Cities Skylines and Sim City are about cities. while Microsoft Flight Simulator, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Train Sim World focus on different types of vehicles. Worldwide Rush however is different. It combines the worldwide reach of a game like Europa Universalis with the logistics management of games like Factorio or Satisfactory. It also just released a new demo to show how this works.

Worldwide Rush is a strategy game where you run a company that transports people around the world. You begin by building your company's headquarters and buying a growing fleet of 120 different vehicles like buses, trains, planes and large ships.

You need to meet the needs of passengers by creating travel routes to the places they want to go offering hotels at their destinations and handling the growing complexity of running different businesses. You’ll also face competition from AI-controlled rivals who will try to take your customers.

The Worldwide Rush demo is small compared to the full game. but still offers a good look at it. Players can build their company in the UK and Ireland and use 21 different vehicles.
