Cities Skylines Stylish Cousin 96% Rated Road Builder’s Big Update Incoming

A popular car strategy game similar to Cities Skylines and Transport Fever but simpler is getting the update that players have been waiting for.

In Cities Skylines things like offices, factories, parks and landfills only work well if you have good roads. It's not clear if the makers, Colossal Order will fix their new game but Cities Skylines 2 has good road tools like roundabouts and easy grids. Transport Fever 3 also has lots of detailed transport options. Saber's Roadcraft focuses on ground-level logistics. If you like building roads and transport there are many games to try now. Don’t forget Mini Motorways a simple car game from four years ago that still has great reviews and is getting a big update soon.

Mini Motorways is a simple game about building roads. You see the city from above with colorful houses and buildings. Cars are also different colors. Your job is to connect red houses to red buildings, blue to blue, yellow to yellow and guide the cars to the right places. You have to make the roads quickly before time runs out. It is both a city-building and strategy game. Even though it looks simple you need to plan carefully to win.

Mini Motorways has more than 20,000 player reviews and 96% of them are good. In 2025 the game will get two new places to play. Now the game maker Dinosaur Polo Club says they will add the features that fans want the most.

The new Mini Motorways update will add Creative Mode. This lets players change the city map any way they want. You can move and change buildings, switch their colors, remove parts and change the land. If you want you can make a calm easy city to relax in. Or you can make a hard city that challenges your skills and makes you feel stressed.
