Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Breaks Records on Gaming’s Letterboxd

The highly praised RPG Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is now the highest-rated game by users on the gaming social media site Backloggd.

If you haven’t heard of Backloggd it’s a cool website where you can keep track of the video games you’re playing. It works a lot like Letterboxd which is used for movies. The site has a simple design and some fun social features so you can follow your friends see what they’re playing and even find new games to try.

Recently Backloggd added a new feature that shows the Top 100 highest-rated games. At the top of that list right now is Clair Obscur Expedition 33 a turn-based RPG that has become the highest-rated game on the whole site. It even passed Baldur’s Gate 3 which now sits in second place. The list also includes some older favorites like Chrono Trigger and Silent Hill 2 but most of the games are newer. Popular titles like Disco Elysium and Red Dead Redemption 2 are also in the top 10.

The rise of Clair Obscur Expedition 33 shows that newer games often get a lot of love on Backloggd. This isn’t just something that happens with games Letterboxd also saw something similar when Everything Everywhere All At Once quickly became the top-rated movie after its release.
