Cyberpunk 2077 the 2020 role-playing game from the makers of Witcher 3 and Witcher 4 is getting another update as announced unexpectedly.
Cyberpunk 2077 came out almost five years ago but it had a rough start because of many bugs and problems. Players were excited but the issues made it hard to enjoy. Since then the game's maker CD Projekt Red has kept improving it with updates and fixes. They even released a big update with the Phantom Liberty expansion. Now even while working on new games like Witcher 4 the studio is still updating Cyberpunk 2077. A new update is coming soon.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a big RPG with lots to explore and improve. That’s why the developers are releasing another update. They announced this surprise patch during a livestream today where they were also talking about the game’s upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version.
CDPR team members were asked about DLC and shared that a new update is coming soon. They said more details will be revealed later this month. Associate Game Director Paweł Sasko said on X/Twitter that they’ve been secretly working on the patch. Global Community Director Marcin Momot also said they’ll start sharing more info as the launch gets closer.
Cyberpunk 2077's update 2.3 will come out on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
