Team Jade is telling players not to change Delta Force's ini files. They’ve started punishing accounts in the FPS game that do this.
The makers of Delta Force Team Jade are telling players not to change the game files. They found some people doing this to change things in the game. Team Jade says they have already taken action against those players especially since some were even sharing how to do it online.
Delta Force is becoming very popular again on Steam as many players are coming back to play the shooter. The multiplayer game has reached its highest number of players ever. The developers Team Jade are still working on updates to make it better. However some players are cheating by changing the game’s files to get unfair advantages.
Team Jade has shared a new message telling players not to change certain game files or they could get in trouble.
They said some players are trying to improve game performance by editing the game's ini settings files. But after checking, their security team found that many players were actually using this to unfairly change things like grass, trees, smoke, characters and lighting during matches.
Our security team found that some players are sharing and teaching these methods on social media and websites. A few players are even making money from these tutorials. This breaks the Delta Force rules and hurts the fair and fun game experience for everyone. We have already taken action against those accounts.
Here the security team asks all players to follow the game rules and not change the game’s ini files without permission or break similar rules. If someone breaks these rules their account will be banned for seven days. If they do it again after the ban the punishment will be worse.
Team Jade asks players to report any bad behavior in the game to keep things fair for everyone. The studio also promises to keep taking action against anyone who breaks the game rules.
