Escape From Tarkov Wipe Confirmed Ahead of 1.0 Launch

Battlestate says a new Escape From Tarkov wipe is coming soon. It looks like this wipe is different from the PvE reset that’s planned before the full 1.0 release.
Escape From Tarkov Wipe Confirmed Ahead of 1.0 Launch
Escape From Tarkov 1.0 is coming in 2025. To play the new quests in the final version players will have to reset their PvE progress. Another full wipe is also expected soon. BSG co-founder Nikita Buyanov said it will happen before version 1.0 comes out. Based on the game's roadmap we might already know when everyone's progress will be reset.

The most common question from Escape From Tarkov fans is When is the next wipe? Another one is Is that Glukhar? though that’s often interrupted by gunfire. When Battlestate said Tarkov 1.0 is coming before the end of 2025 they also shared that all PvE progress will be reset if you want to play the final quests where you might actually escape from Tarkov.

What about your other progress? Usually there's a full wipe in June but because version 1.0 is coming soon it’s been delayed. Most people thought the wipe would happen with the 1.0 launch but that’s not going to happen.

Nikita Buyanov posted on X that there will be one more wipe before the game is fully released. He didn’t give more details but the April roadmap for Tarkov might give a hint. It mentions a big in-game event coming in August which could be the wipe he’s talking about. This also supports the idea that Escape From Tarkov 1.0 will likely launch sometime after August.

Escape From Tarkov Arena is coming to Steam before the end of summer. The main Tarkov game will also release on Steam but only after version 1.0 is ready.
