The game Forever Skies which is like Fallout and Subnautica got mixed reviews when it came out. But the maker Far From Home has big plans to improve it.
Forever Skies is a new survival game on Steam. It mixes ideas from Fallout and Subnautica. You play with friends on a broken Earth. You fly and take care of a high-tech airship and explore old places on the ground. The game left early access in April but some players are not happy. There are technical problems, boring parts and the world looks the same a lot. The game makers Far From Home want to fix these problems with updates. They are not finished with the game yet.
First we want to say thank you to everyone who has given feedback and supported Forever Skies Far From Home said in a new blog. We know many players are unhappy with the game. We are paying close attention and listening to what you have to say.
We are not going to stop working on our game or leave it behind. That would go against what our studio believes in. If you’ve watched us for a while you know we keep making updates and talking to our players a lot. So the survival game is here to stay and Far From Home will keep sharing what’s coming next.
The team studied a lot of reviews and comments about Forever Skies. They found four main problems players have. First there are technical bugs that stop players from moving forward and ruin the fun. Second the game has performance problems and the places look the same So it feels boring to explore. Third some parts of the game are too slow and not fun to play. Players want the game to be more interesting and exciting.
We are planning to make updates and fixes for the game and Release them regularly. Some updates will come quickly but others will take more time because we want to do them right. Please be patient and understand that good work needs time.
The newest update is not about the big improvements. Patch 1.0.2 fixes some bugs that Far From Home was already working on. It also makes small changes to the game. Far From Home says these fixes help get ready for bigger updates coming later.
If games like Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky can get better after problems. I believe Forever Skies can too. The new part Far From Home shows the game is still improving. I’m excited to see how it will be in a year.
