GTA Online Update Teases Fan-Favorite Feature Ahead of GTA 6

A datamine suggests Rockstar might add one of the most requested GTA Online features in its final update before GTA 6.

GTA 5 and GTA Online have been around for a long time with many updates adding new content. But some things players really want are still missing. One big request is mansions. While there are fancy apartments players want huge luxury homes to show off their wealth. Now the latest GTA Online update might finally be hinting at mansions just in time before GTA 6 comes out.

GTA Online has been popular for over 10 years but it might be ending soon. Rockstar hasn’t said what will happen to it after GTA 6 comes out but it’s likely a new version of GTA Online will launch in the new GTA 6 map, Leonida. So with today’s big update there may only be a few more major updates left before GTA 6 arrives.

The new Money Fronts update adds a lot of exciting stuff. You can now use a money laundering system to unlock more businesses like a car wash a weed shop called Smoke on the Water and a helicopter tour company. Your business empire just got bigger. There's also a new character Mr. Faber who gives you some new missions. Plus you can get several cool new vehicles.

This update is good but the most exciting part is a hidden teaser found in the game’s code.

According to a user named floorball and GTA news source Tez2 future Mr. Faber missions might involve helping someone build luxury properties. There's also a message in the code that says: You’ve earned a special discount on a future property from Prix Luxury Real Estate. They’ll contact you again when new properties are available.

This doesn't confirm for sure that mansions are coming to GTA Online but it strongly hints at it. It looks like players will be able to buy a new type of luxury home after helping Mr. Faber's client. After years of just apartments a mansion would be a fresh and exciting option perfect for the game's rich and shady vibe.

Right now the luxury property missions don’t seem to be part of the current Mr. Faber missions in GTA Online. That means they might be added in the next few months or with the big December update. GTA Online usually gets major updates every six months so this could be the last big update before GTA 6 comes out in May next year. Many players have wanted this for a long time so it would be a great way to end.

Some people think this could be a hint about a feature in GTA 6 Online. If you finish Mr. Faber’s missions in GTA 5 you might get a discount on a mansion in GTA 6. Since a mansion was your base in GTA Vice City and GTA 6 is going back to that location this idea could be true.

This isn’t official yet and even though it was found in GTA 5’s files we shouldn’t assume it’s true for sure.
