Inzoi’s New City Update Turns Sims Rival into a Stardew Valley-Style Life Sim

The new Inzoi city called Cahaya is a peaceful island where there are no jobs or schools. Instead people live a simple life growing their own food and taking care of themselves like in Stardew Valley.

Inzoi is a very realistic life simulation game and it could become a strong rival to The Sims 4. Even though it’s still in early access and not fully complete it's already looking very promising. What’s surprising is that it also feels a bit like Stardew Valley now. In a new update from the game director Hungjun Kjun Kim Inzoi’s third location has been revealed. It was earlier called Kucingku but now it’s been renamed to Cahaya. This new place has a resort theme and changes the game into more of a farming experience.

The game already has a strong base and Krafton’s Inzoi Studio is working hard to make it even better. Recently they added official mod support. The next big update is coming in August and will bring many exciting features like swimming pools ghosts you can play as freelancing jobs, better skills, parenting updates, text messages and a smart building assistant using AI. You’ll also be able to change city layouts more easily. The new location Cahaya will be part of this update.

Right now we don’t get to see what the new location looks like but the game’s creator Kjun has shared some interesting details. The name of the place is Cahaya which means light. According to Kjun it stands for the fun and colorful experiences players can enjoy there things like farming, boating, relaxing and exploring beautiful empty islands. These aren’t just extra activities they’re a big part of what makes Cahaya special.

Kjun also said that since Cahaya is built like a resort city adding jobs and schools didn’t really make sense. So they decided not to include them at all. Instead players can live a peaceful independent life by doing things like farming or fishing. Some players have said the current game world feels a bit boring or stiff so this new resort-style city sounds like a fun and refreshing change something fans of games like Stardew Valley might really enjoy.

Kjun says that many players have shared their thoughts and asked for better features in the job system. He promises that these changes will come in the next big city update. The team is also working on making characters show emotions more naturally improving relationships and adding deeper ways for players to interact all based on what the community wants.

Right now though, the focus is on relaxing. Kjun explains that even though making Inzoi has been a lot of fun sometimes he just wants a break from everything. That feeling inspired him to build a peaceful place in the game where players can take it easy and relax from their busy lives. With how hot it is in real life that idea sounds pretty good right now.

Cahaya is coming as part of Inzoi’s free update in August. The developers Kjun said they will share more details soon including a full look at the new city during Gamescom. This event will happen from Wednesday, August 20 to Sunday, August 24 So it looks like the update might come out at the end of the month.
