Roadcraft Surprise Hit Marks Publisher’s Biggest Launch Yet

Roadcraft is a new game about disaster relief vehicles. It’s made by the same publisher behind Space Marine 2 and Snowrunner and it’s become one of their biggest game launches ever.

Saber Interactive has made simulation games more popular with its Runner series. Starting with Mudrunner in 2017 then Snowrunner and now Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game each new game has been better than the last. Last month the studio released Roadcraft which combines detailed off-roading with fun building tasks. The game has been a big success with the publisher's parent company calling it one of their most successful launches ever.

In our Roadcraft review Ed said the game proves that even unusual topics can make great video games. He praised its building system and simple story saying they make the game feel more rewarding than many big, action-packed RPGs and shooters.

Many other people seem to like the game too. On launch day a lot of players joined through Steam. The game also did well for its publisher’s parent company. In a recent earnings report Pullup Entertainment Group said Roadcraft performed better than expected. They even called it one of the most successful launches in Focus Entertainment’s history with over 600,000 unique players so far.

Pullup CEO Geoffroy Sardin said that Roadcraft had a great start and called it one of the best game launches in Focus Entertainment’s history.
