Stellar Blade PC Review Stylish Action, Shallow Depth,Stellar Blade PC Review,Stellar Blade has fun and exciting combat
Stellar Blade starts with a pod falling from the sky and crashing to Earth. Eve the main character comes out of the pod in slow motion with her long ponytail flowing and explosions in the background. She looks like a futuristic model. Soon she jumps into battle. You learn how to dodge attacks block hits and fight strange bug-like enemies with fast sword moves. The world looks very colorful and unreal.

In Stellar Blade’s sci-fi future Eve has one mission to fight monsters that have taken over the world. The last humans live in a small city with little safety. When regular people see Eve they call her Angel because she’s strong and came from space to help.

Eve is made to impress players. She’s a powerful fighter who moves fast and looks cool in battle. She’s also meant to look attractive with the game showing off her body and giving players different outfits to put on her.

Stellar Blade does what it sets out to do whether you like it or not. Most of the time you explore big empty places climbing, swimming and running through broken buildings and old ruins. But the main focus of the game is the fighting.

Eve is a skilled fighter and Stellar Blade shows this with smooth and fast combat. She dodges, jumps and uses different combo attacks to beat enemies. The game adds new weapons and special moves often so the combat stays fun without being too hard or boring. The animations and sounds make each hit feel strong. There are many types of enemies so you have to keep learning new ways to fight. The health and shield systems for both Eve and the enemies are also well designed.

The fights in Stellar Blade look and sound great whether you're beating small enemies or big bosses. The game’s graphics are also very good especially the monsters and ruined world. But some areas take too long to get through and start to feel boring before you reach the next part.

There are some nice moments that make the long sewer runs or ruined city areas feel better. The city of Xion with its small streets and busy shops slowly comes to life more than any other place in the game's world. Its buildings help show that it's meant to be a safe and special place in a ruined Earth.

Some levels feel dark and mysterious leading to huge research areas so big that Eve looks tiny compared to the high ceilings and wide walls. On PC the game looks especially good and shows off its exciting combat and detailed graphics making the experience even better.

Some characters look really unique like the old Orcal whose body is part wires and metal machines. There's also Enya a sad-looking singer with just a skeleton and head attached to a robot body until Eve helps fix her.

Most of the enemies in the game look weird and creepy. They move in strange ways and have bodies that look like bugs, sea creatures or lumps of flesh and rock. The main characters on the other hand look like perfect humans. There's a tough-looking man and several women who look like dolls. It feels like the game is making fun of itself especially when you see a magical female guard wearing tight shiny clothes or notice that Eve is always in high heels even while climbing dangerous places.

Even though the game tries to look sexy on the surface the story and characters are actually very plain. The characters don’t feel real they talk and act like lifeless robots. Stellar Blade feels like it’s full of plastic dolls instead of real people and it’s hard to care about them because they don’t show real emotions or thoughts.

Because of this the game's story feels weak. It's a mix of end-of-the-world themes and ideas about technology that we've seen many times before. Even though Stellar Blade tries to explore what it means to be human in a different world the main character Eve and the others are not deep or interesting enough. Since the characters don't feel real the story doesn't stand out no matter how many plot twists it has.

Stellar Blade is a good action game with fun and exciting fights. But overall the game feels a bit empty just like its main character. It looks cool and can be exciting but it doesn’t offer much depth or meaning.
