Ned Luke, the actor who played Michael De Santa in Grand Theft Auto 5 told fans that it’s up to Rockstar if the character will appear in GTA Online.
Although it feels like we've been waiting forever (over 500 days) Grand Theft Auto 6 is likely to be released by the end of this year. This means our time with the original Los Santos in GTA 5 and GTA Online which has lasted more than ten years is coming to an end.
We are all looking forward to the next Grand Theft Auto but one thing we're disappointed about is that Rockstar isn't ending the GTA 5 era yet. Fans were hoping Michael De Santa would return to GTA Online. but it now looks like it won't happen.
Don’t Expect Michael in GTA Online Before GTA 6 Launch
Michael is the only main character from Grand Theft Auto 5's story mode who isn't in GTA Online. Trevor was there from the beginning and an older Franklin was added recently but Michael is still missing. Fans have been asking Rockstar to add him but it hasn't happened yet.
Ned Luke the actor who plays Michael, recently shared his thoughts on Twitter about appearing in GTA Online. When a fan asked him to return for one last DLC. he replied Wouldn't that be great? hinting that it probably won't happen.
However that's all Luke had to say on the matter as he also expressed some thoughts on the subject following his original tweet. Luke who has played and streamed GTA Online said he enjoyed playing the random online DLC characters but isn't sure if he'd do it again if asked.
Luke has played the game before and knows what he can and can’t say about unannounced Rockstar projects so he won’t tease a return. Still it's nice to see him accepting that he's not in GTA Online even though he's likely hoping. like the rest of us that his character will return in GTA 6.
