The past few years have been great for dungeon crawler fans like me. There's Diablo 4 which keeps going with its seasons and games like Last Epoch or Path of Exile 2 and No Rest for the Wicked. Inspired by Blizzard's classic ARPGs Moon Studios game developed by the team behind Ori just turned one. Its big update The Breach is the perfect way to celebrate. It adds new areas enemies and two weapon types making it a must-play. We have got you covered.

Let's begin with No Rest for the Wicked's new zones. Gennadiy Korol co-founder of Moon Studios says these zones together are basically double the size of the [current] world. These include the mysterious Lowland Meadows the expanded Nameless Pass and the spooky Marin Woods with its village Marin Village. All these zones are made by hand with no procedural generation.

But New locations bring new enemies. There is Timberwhite with his huge axe archers who are great at ranged attacks and the dangerous Rust Reavers with their deadly saws. Many bosses are coming but their details are still unknown.

Thankfully You now have two new weapons and abilities to help you survive in Isola Sacra. The gauntlets are great for close combat submissions and a new drop kick move. Wands let you use magic to cast spells burning enemies with fire or trapping them in ice.

The fun continues after finishing the campaign. The Breach adds new endgame features with Pestilence being the standout. Some areas of the map can become infected causing enemies from other regions to appear. When you defeat them they drop Torn Resources which you can use at any bonfire to raise the games difficulty for better gear. It’s similar to Diablo 4’s Strongholds and I’m excited to try it out.
