Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Dead by Daylight Surprise Crossover Announced

Behaviour Interactive and Ubisoft are working together on a new Assassin’s Creed and Dead by Daylight event. It’s coming very soon.

Ubisoft and Behaviour Interactive are teaming up for a surprise event. They are making a crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and Dead by Daylight. Ubisoft the maker of Rainbow Six Siege and Far Cry said there would be a special event at the end of May. Now we know it will mix The Fog and feudal Japan.

Ubisoft has many plans for Assassin’s Creed Shadows in 2025. There will be a new expansion called Claws of Awaji free story updates, better parkour, harder difficulty options a New Game Plus mode and more. While we wait for These Ubisoft announced a special event with the game Dead by Daylight.

Ubisoft says on Twitter/X A new Dead by Daylight quest starts. Move quietly in the shadows. Stay alive.

There’s one problem: it’s not clear if this is a Dead by Daylight event in Assassin’s Creed Shadows or the other way around. Many people in the comments aren’t sure if these are Dead by Daylight skins or a quest for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. So I asked Ubisoft to explain. But for now we can make a good guess.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed account shared news about the collaboration first and Dead by Daylight’s (DBD) social media shared it too. Also the Assassin’s Creed Shadows plan has been hinting about its first special collaboration for a while. But the strongest clue is DBD’s May plan. Behaviour Interactive showed what will come in May for the game after Ubisoft’s announcement and it doesn’t mention Shadows at all.

If you wanted Yasuke and Naoe outfits in Dead by Daylight don’t get your hopes up. It seems like there will be a Dead by Daylight quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows instead.

The Assassin’s Creed and Dead by Daylight event will start on Tuesday, May 27.
