Clanfolk Medieval Colony Sim Major Update Released

RimWorld made by Braveheart and Clanfolk got a big free update. It adds trips making bricks and other new things.

Do you think you could live in the old Scottish Highlands? What if you had to take care of your whole family not just yourself? That’s the challenge in the game Clanfolk. It’s a colony game like RimWorld and just got a big update that gives you more freedom.

Clanfolk is a city-building game on Steam Early Access. You start with one family and if you do well you can lead a growing Scottish colony.

This game is like RimWorld but your people have a better chance to live. There are no bad guys attacking. but the cold weather can be dangerous. If you don’t get ready for winter your people might freeze.

MinMax Games Ltd a two-person team made a new update for Clanfolk. The update adds 70 new items changes the game speed a little and lets your colonists go on trips to explore new places.

With this new update you can use the World Map to send your characters to many places. It’s fun and you can find taverns inns and other spots. MinMax Games says these places will be more important in future updates.

You need to feed your explorers but while they are away they don’t help with your colony. Will the other colonists do the work? Or will the explorers come back to find things messy and bad?

The update is out now. If you haven't played Clanfolk yet it’s 50% off on Steam. The price is $14.99 or £12.49 instead of $29.99 or £24.99. The sale ends on May 30.
