Do you remember the game Bulletstorm? The makers of that game are now making a new game where you survive on an island with other players. You can try playing it now.
Finding yourself on a strange beach is not good especially if you are a whale. But in the game Lost Rift this is where the hard survival adventure begins.
You have to protect yourself from animals and maybe other people. You also need to build a shelter find things you need survive really bad weather and more. The game is made by the same team as Bulletstorm but it doesn’t have easy slow-motion or a surprise Duke Nukem character. At least not yet.
You can play with up to four other friends on a team. But watch out other teams can also try to kill you.
The game focuses on realistic weapons and a style where you try to escape. It is a bit like Escape from Tarkov. It also feels a little like The Forest and Sons of the Forest. Like those games it will have its own story to tell.
Is it good? Hopefully yes because People Can Fly has been working on it secretly for two years. There is no exact Steam Early Access date yet but you can try it now in a playtest that lasts until May 18.
