Palia’s Cozy Stardew Valley-Style MMO Expansion Boosts Player Count

The free-to-play fantasy game Palia has reached a new record for players after releasing its big new Elderwood Expansion.

Palia is a fun online game like Runescape and Stardew Valley and it’s free to play. You won’t fight dragons or battle other players. Instead you spend time crafting, gathering things, making friends and doing nice relaxing activities.

If you jump into Palia’s cozy world you’ll meet many new people. The game just got its first big update called Elderwood. Because of this more players are joining going from about 6,000 to over 17,000 at the same time. That’s a lot more players than before.

The Elderwood Expansion brings lots of new things like new places, quests, animals and pets. There is also a new character named Ulfe. He is a boy who lives in the Elderwood a magical forest. We think he is not cursed or possessed. Probably.
