Warhorse's first KCD2 DLC shows Henry meeting a mysterious artist and adds a great new way to customize.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has many exciting and surprising stories in the main game. Now Warhorse Studios released its first DLC which adds a very strange and fun new story. In this DLC Henry goes on a new adventure with a crazy artist who wants to paint his greatest artwork. The DLC also adds a cool new way to customize your game.
The first expansion for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. called Brushes with Death came out soon after the game was released in February. In this DLC you meet a strange painter named Master Voyta. Like many famous artists in history he wants to make a great masterpiece but he needs Henry’s help to finish it.
In this new quest you will meet old and new characters and learn more about the painter’s strange past. The quest takes place in both the Trosky and Kuttenberg areas. You don’t need to finish any main story quests to start Brushes with Death.
Master Voyta will reward your help by unlocking a new feature shield painting. You’ll be able to choose colors, patterns and symbols to create your own shield design.
If you’ve spent a lot of time playing the main game or want to explore more of it. you’ll be rewarded. By finishing certain quests, going to specific places or meeting certain characters you can unlock new symbols (insignias) to use on your custom shield. If you’ve already done the right things before starting the new expansion those symbols will be ready for you to use right away.
The Brushes with Death DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is out now. If you have the Expansion Pass or the Gold Edition you can download it for free. If not it costs just $5.99 / £4.99.
If you’re not excited about the new DLC there’s still good news. Update 1.3 is out today and it’s free for everyone. It adds a new horse racing side activity and some quests. There are also many bug fixes and improvements.
