Sony Leak Reveals Stellar Blade PC Launch Date Early

The PC version of Stellar Blade now has an official release date. It will soon be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Forget about the drama around it for a second Stellar Blade was one of the top games of last year. While it didn't break new ground in terms of gameplay. it was a beautiful and solid action game that sold really well. The downside is that it's only been available on the PS5. Although there were talks about bringing it to PC it still hasn't launched on platforms like Steam. But good news: thanks to an accidentally posted trailer on the PlayStation YouTube channel we now know when the PC version will finally be available and it's not far off.

We knew for a while that Stellar Blade would be released on PC in June. The developers Shift Up confirmed this when they showed a flashy trailer for a crossover with another game they made Goddess of Victory Nikke. However the exact release date has been a mystery and with June approaching. I’ve been wondering if the release might be delayed.

Stellar Blade is a popular game on PC even though it was already played by millions on PS5. It’s currently one of the top 40 most wishlisted games on Steam. Although games made by PlayStation usually don’t launch on PC at the same time people have been waiting for over a year since its release in April 2024.

The new trailer for Stellar Blade which was uploaded and then quickly removed by Sony from the official PlayStation YouTube account reveals the release date for the PC version of the game and shares details about additional content it will have.

Stellar Blade will be released on PC on Wednesday, June 11. It will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The trailer shows that this version will have no limit on frame rate improved AI to enhance frame quality better textures support for ultrawide screens and compatibility with the DualSense controller if that's your preferred PC controller.

There will be more content added including Japanese and Chinese voiceover dubs 25 new outfits for Eve and a new boss fight with Mann the leader of the Sentinels.
