Starfield didn’t meet the high expectations some players had for Bethesda’s next big RPG. While it still disappointed many our review said the game struggles to keep up with others in the genre like Larian Studios and CD Projekt Red. It also called the game an interstellar adventure that never leaves the atmosphere. Steam players seem to agree with Starfield holding a 58% positive rating or Mixed' overall.
The launch of the first big DLC Shattered Space didn't go well. On Steam it has a 30% rating or Mostly Negative. However one of the games creators and Bethesda have both said that they haven't given up on Starfield and will keep working on it.
