The Grow a Garden bee is a pet that comes from a Bee egg. In your garden it helps crops by adding the Pollinated effect. This lets you trade crops for Honey during the Grow a Garden Bizzy Bee event.

The Grow a Garden Bizzy Bees event is easy to play. You plant seeds wait for them to get a special Pollinated trait then trade them for Honey. You use the Honey to buy special seeds, pets and gear that are only available for a short time.

The Grow a Garden Bizzy Bees event ends on Saturday June 7. After that you probably won’t be able to get Grow a Garden bees or seeds anymore.

Grow a Garden Guide to Pollinated Plants

The first way to get Pollinated Plants to trade for Honey in Grow a Garden is to be online when a Swarm event starts.

Swarm events start every hour and last for 10 minutes. This is like the Bloodmoon event from early May. You can see a timer next to the Queen Bee NPC in the middle of the map that shows when the next Swarm event will happen.

Every 10 minutes the plants in your garden can get the Pollinated trait.

You harvest the crops and give them to the Honey Combpressor by talking to the NPC nearby in the middle of the map. You get Honey based on how much the crops weigh.

You can trade honey with the Queen Bee NPC to get special seeds, gear and pets like the Bee or Honey Bee. These pets can give you the Pollinated power even after the event ends.

The Bee pet can give plants the Pollinated trait Right away So you don’t have to wait for the Bee event every hour.

The Honey Bee pet is a rare pet from the same Bee egg. It is more likely to get the Pollinated mutation often.
