I really like cyberpunk because it mixes super advanced technology with people living tough lives. These worlds have amazing robots and computers but most people can’t afford to enjoy them. I also enjoy roguelike games because you can play them again and again in different ways. It's fun to keep trying until you win games like Dead Cells and Risk of Rain are some of my favorites. If you like these kinds of games too, you should try Kiborg. It combines cyberpunk and roguelike styles and with a new update and discount now is a great time to check it out.

In Kiborg’s future world criminals can’t avoid their punishment by dying. If someone dies before finishing their sentence they’re brought back to life and must still serve the full time in jail. The only way to shorten the sentence is by fighting dangerous enemies on a violent game show but almost no one wins.

Luckily Kiborg gives you the weapons you need to win. You can use many different sci-fi guns and melee weapons each with its own way of doing damage. The game mixes fighting and shooting from behind your character so you have to pick the best way to beat each enemy.

When you die Kiborg begins to open up more. You can replace your body parts with robot parts that give you new powers and abilities for your next try. These upgrades work with your weapons to create many different ways to play and you can keep trying different styles until you win.

Kiborg has been out for some time now and the developer Sobaka Studio has added a new update called the Endless Update. The main feature is a new endless mode where you can keep fighting even after beating the final boss Novak.

The update adds two new arenas. In one you fight large groups of enemies to test how long you can survive. The other is a boss rush where you battle the strongest bosses in the game. If you win you get a new character skin to show off. Also all characters in Kiborg are now 15 to 30% faster which should make moving around towers during fights feel smoother according to Sobaka.

Sobaka Studio has released the Kiborg Endless Mode update on Steam. The game is also 20% off until Thursday, June 26 so you can get it for $19.99 / £16.79. You can check it out here.
