Mindseye a new game from a former GTA and Red Dead Redemption producer will get several updates soon.
Mindseye had a very rough launch this year. It's the first game from Build a Rocket Boy a studio started by a former GTA and Red Dead Redemption producer so people had high hopes. But when it released earlier this week it got attention mostly because of major technical problems. Now after many complaints the studio has shared a plan to fix the game.
The official Mindseye X/Twitter account recently shared a long post explaining when the game's creator will release updates and how the team feels about the mostly negative feedback they've gotten.
We're sad that some players couldn't enjoy the game the way we planned. Right now we're focused on improving performance and stability so everyone can have the same great experience on any device.
The post says the team found a memory leak causing most of the crashes and is working on a fix for PC that could come as soon as tomorrow. They also said they’re committed to giving all players a good experience and will keep sharing regular clear updates. The post also gives a timeline for Mindseye’s upcoming updates.
A small update coming tomorrow will make the game run better. It will also let players change or turn off the depth of field setting make the CPR mini-game easier and fix missing controls in the MineHunter and Run Dungeon mini-games. Another update coming in the week of June 16 will improve performance and stability even more fix the car wheels not spinning properly and stop players from falling through the ground in the Car Manufacturing area.
By the end of June the studio says players will get updates that make the game run better fix animations, improve the AI and adjust the hard difficulty level.
