Paradox the maker of Europa Universalis 5 has fixed the trade system in Victoria 3. They did this with the new Charters of Commerce DLC.
Victoria 3 is a good grand strategy game made by Paradox a company known for popular games like Age of Wonders 4, Stellaris, Imperator Rome and Hearts of Iron 4. The game is very detailed and complex similar to the earlier version. However it had a problem with its trade system which made the game less enjoyable and harder to succeed in. Luckily this problem has been fixed with a new update and a special add-on called the Charters of Commerce DLC both released today.
The Charters of Commerce DLC improves the trade system which was a weak part of the game at first. It adds new features like company charters investment charters and lets players create monopolies and prestige goods. At the same time the game received a free Update 1.9 that includes new options like trade charters and diplomatic treaties. This update also brings many other fixes and improvements to make the game better overall.
The main goal of this update is to fix the biggest problem people had with Victoria 3. Before one part of the game felt very simple and didn’t have enough detail. Now with this new update that part of the game has become much deeper and more interesting to play.
