Norse Oath of Blood Viking City-Building Meets XCOM Strategy

Norse: Oath of Blood is a new Viking game that mixes city building like Manor Lords tactical fights like XCOM 2 and adventure like Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Looking at the past is a good way to make a city-building game interesting. Games like Manor Lords, Banished, Going Medieval and Stronghold use real historical settings to make their games more appealing. Norse: Oath of Blood does this too but it also adds tactical battles and strong characters to show Viking life in a special way.

Norse: Oath of Blood is a strategy and city-building game. You play as a Norwegian warrior named Gunnar. Gunnar wants to get revenge for his father’s death. To do this you must build a settlement that grows into a strong fortress. You also need to find and recruit allies to join Gunnar’s warband. Then, you lead them in turn-based battles.

Norse: Oath of Blood is a game that combines fighting and building a city. It has a strong story written by author Giles Kristian. As you play you follow the character Gunnar who meets many people from early Norway. You make choices about these people and those choices affect how your settlement grows.
