The Halo Infinite Operation: Legacy event is here It brings back fun from the old Halo 3 game from 2007. Grab your Doritos and Mountain Dew because the game now has old game modes, cool new outfits and maps that remind you of the past. And yes Grifball is back too.

Starting now the Delta Arena: Halo 3 Legacy Playlist is available. You can play old-style games on classic maps. There are 11 famous maps like Guardian, Narrows, Cold Storage and Ghost Town in Halo Infinite’s matchmaking.

But there’s more Delta Arena adds new settings to the multiplayer game that you’ll like. Like old Halo this mode has no sprint or climbing, players jump higher teammates can bump into each other no extra weapons and everyone starts with either the MA5K Avenger or BR75 Battle Rifle.

Grifball is back and just as fun. You only get a gravity hammer an energy sword and your goal is to grab the ball and throw it into the other team’s goal. Halo Studios has also made some changes to make this game mode even better.

Halo Studios says they made Grifball more exciting by making the Gravity Hammer swing faster and stronger. They also changed the swords to a type that can fake attacks from far away. With these changes you can jump with the hammer, knock other players away, pass the ball, have fun sword fights and stop goals by blocking the ball at the right time.

To celebrate the launch of Ninja Gaiden 4 later this year the famous Hayabusa helmet is coming back. You can get it by earning Spartan Points and using them in The Exchange where you unlock cool items just by playing the game. Also the free 20-level Operation: Legacy Pass gives you the EOD GEN1 armor which looks just like it did in Halo 3.

You can go to the in-game shop and get the Rogue, Xantippe, Scout GEN1 and Security GEN1 armor sets. These give you more classic Halo gear to use.

Halo Infinite’s Operation: Legacy event is happening now and will end on Tuesday, July 8. You can find out more here.
