The 2003 FPS Postal 2 is well known in PC gaming history for both good and bad reasons. This violent and darkly funny game by Running With Scissors became famous for its shocking content and gained a cult following. It got a 20th-anniversary update two years ago and now the studio has announced a full remaster is on the way.

This is real no need to adjust your screen says Running With Scissors on social media. Postal 2 Redux is coming to Kickstarter this summer. It's a complete remake of the original game moving everything from the old Unreal 1.5 engine to modern Unity. The game will still follow the same crazy week in the Postal Dude’s life but with updated graphics and lots of new features.

Postal 2 is a weird and violent game known for using things like bodily waste and even featuring Gary Coleman. Despite the controversy it’s become a cult classic from the early 2000s. On Steam it has a 96% positive rating from almost 100,000 users. If the 20th anniversary update wasn’t enough this bigger update might be just what you need.

The exact date for the fundraiser isn’t known yet only that it will happen this summer. You can follow it on Kickstarter to get a notification when it starts.
