Stormgate Finally Adds Most-Wanted Feature in Starcraft-Style RTS
Stormgate is a real-time strategy game and it has been waiting a long time to add a new feature called the Stormgates. This new feature is something many players have been asking for. The game looks a lot like Starcraft 2 which is a popular strategy game but it also borrows ideas from many other games called MOBAs like DOTA. Stormgates are special spots on the game map that players need to fight over. These spots are very important because they give players special advantages if they control them.

So what exactly are Stormgates and how do they work? Stormgates are big portals that appear in certain places on the map during the game. Players try to attack these portals and the player who does the most damage to a Stormgate wins control over it. When a player controls a Stormgate they get rewards. These rewards can be very helpful in the game. For example the player might get strong new units that only come from the Stormgate or a special power that can clone units once or even a storm that hurts all enemies it passes through. As the game goes on more Stormgates open and the rewards get better each time.

Right now Stormgates only appear in one type of game mode where two players fight each other one-on-one. But soon these portals and their rewards will be added to other game modes too so everyone can enjoy them. This new feature adds more excitement and strategy to Stormgate making the battles more interesting for all players.

This upcoming update will bring more changes than just one thing. One big change is that it will remove something many players did not like at all creep camps. Creep camps are places in the game where computer-controlled enemies stay and protect very strong items. Many players told the game maker Frost Giant Studios that these creep camps were too dangerous to go after and made the game harder in a way they did not enjoy. Because of this the developers decided to take out creep camps completely from the three main ladder maps where most players compete.

However creep camps will still be there for now in custom games where players can choose how to play. Good real-time strategy (RTS) games usually keep things simple but also offer a lot of options and ways to play. Stormgate the game we are talking about seems to follow this idea by making the game cleaner and easier to enjoy while still being exciting and big.
