The Finals Season 7 has brought more players back on Steam by adding a new map and a crazy weapon that heals while it damages.
The Finals probably won’t beat big games like Call of Duty or Valorant but it has its own unique style. It feels like a mix of The Running Man, Titanfall 2 and Red Faction. It’s fast wild and a lot of fun. Now with the Season 7 update more people are playing and the game has added one of the strangest FPS weapons ever.
The Finals is a fast-paced shooting game that came out in December 2023. At first it lost 83% of its players but now it has a loyal fanbase. With the launch of Season 7 the game is getting popular again and more people are playing it on Steam.
The Finals Season 7 launched on June 12 and about 10,000 more people started playing reaching a peak of 28,978 players. That’s much lower than the 250,000 it had at the start but for live service games like this having a steady group of players is still very important.
Season 7 of The Finals is called The Divide. It adds a new map named Nozomi/Citadel which is split into two parts. In the game’s story the map shows a fight between the game’s sponsor and a hacker group. Like other maps a lot of it can be blown up during matches.
There are also some new gadgets: The Breach Drill which digs through walls or floors A Healing Emitter that slowly heals your team And the H+ Infuser another tool that helps with healing.
If you like playing as a support character you’ll love this new tool. Tired of dropping healing items and no one picking them up? Yep especially in Marvel Rivals. With the H+ Infuser you just shoot your teammates to heal them. Now they can’t ignore your help.
If you missed rewards from earlier seasons of The Finals Season 7 lets you unlock old Battle Passes from Seasons 1 to 4 and get those items.
