Elden Ring DLC Leak Hints at Imminent Release
The Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is a great reason to return to the world of Elden Ring. It’s coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2025. This new version includes the full base game the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and some brand-new extras too. Even better you don’t need to own a Switch 2 to enjoy it. Fromsoftware says all the new features will also come to other platforms. And recently a new ESRB rating appeared online. This could mean the Tarnished Edition and all its bonus content are launching very soon.

Earlier this year Fromsoftware shared more details. The Tarnished Edition will have a lot of new content. Players can expect two new classes more armor sets extra weapons and new looks for the horse Torrent. Elden Ring is already one of the best RPGs out there, and this update makes it even more exciting.

If you don’t have the Nintendo Switch 2 don’t worry. Fromsoftware confirmed that the new content will be available on other platforms as well. However we still don’t know exactly when these updates will reach PC and other systems. Hopefully everything releases at the same time as the Switch 2 version. But for now we’ll just have to wait and see.

There is some good news right now for Elden Ring fans. A new rating for the game’s Tarnished Edition has just appeared on the official Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) website. This was first shared by My Nintendo News. Usually when a game gets a rating like this it means the developers are getting close to finishing it and the game might launch soon. The new rating only talks about the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the Tarnished Edition. It does not say anything new about when the game might come to PC. Still this is a strong clue that the new version of Elden Ring could be released in the near future.

Also if the version for the Switch 2 is coming soon that probably means PC players will not have to wait much longer either. Even if the PC version takes a little more time to arrive after the console release this rating shows that the Tarnished Edition is slowly but surely getting closer. So fans who are waiting for extra content or new features in this edition should be hopeful because things are finally moving forward.
