It will launch at a some point in 2025 exclusive to a Nintendo Switch 2 and include a the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion on top of that too. To make this edition of the game even a more special though FromSoftware has gone one a step further and added the cool new feature and or couple of new armor set and or one of them should be very familiar to Dark Souls 2 fans.
The Close Enough Welcome Back Lucatiel
the two armor sets in a tweet from the Elden Ring Twitter account earlier today and one of which has a very familiar tricorn hat some red trousers the cotton shirt and or brown gloves. It is a relatively unassuming at first glance. and but long Time FromSoftware fans will notice thats this looks a identical to the armor thats Lucatiel wears in a Dark Souls 2.
Suffering from the curse Lucatiel is first encountered in No Mans Wharf and as she is on her way to Drangleic in hopes of finding a cure. It is a this curse that causes her to worry about losing her memory and or whether anyone will remember her and when she turns Hollow. She is one of the more friendly and most popular characters in the game and can be summoned for the few boss fights too.
With her armor set to be added to Elden Ring in a near future and we can now take a piece of a Lucatiel with us on a whole new adventure. making truly sure thats we never forget her. or Very wholesome stuff.
