After some delays, Post Trauma is finally out on Steam today bringing creepy places and Silent Hill-style action.
Post Trauma is one of the most exciting horror games this year. It mixes survival horror like the old Silent Hill games with a strange and creepy world. After some delays it is finally out now on Steam.
Post Trauma is a horror game that changes camera angles a lot has creepy monsters and tricky puzzles. It is clearly inspired by Silent Hill and fans of Resident Evil and Dead Space will probably enjoy it too. What makes it different is its unique art style and how it uses a spooky subway setting. The main character Roman is a train conductor with a boring life until everything suddenly gets strange and scary.
Walking through dark subway tunnels and maintenance rooms already feels creepy but it gets worse with piles of body parts and organs everywhere. Scary monsters might be hiding around any corner. Some parts of the buildings look strange and twisted. It is a world you recognize but something terrible has taken over it.
You’ll find some weapons to help protect yourself but shooting your way through Post Trauma is not always the best idea. Ammo is limited and sneaking past enemies is a safer way to avoid attracting more monsters.
Like we said there are some tricky puzzles and mysteries that need exploring and thinking to solve. It would not be a true survival horror game without some padlocks to open and radio dials to turn right?
Post Trauma was supposed to come out around Halloween last year. but it was delayed to 2025 So the team could make the game better and fix bugs. As the new release date in March got closer they delayed it again by a few weeks to finish up some last details. But now it is finally ready.
Post Trauma is now available on Steam for PC and also on Xbox Series X|S and PS5. You can learn more about it or add it to your Steam library.
