We finally got a launch date for GTA 6 but it’s been delayed to next year. Fans aren’t happy about this especially with all the hype and rumors around the game. Those who’ve been waiting for years are trying to cheer themselves up.
This could be good for developers launching games this year as they won't have to compete with one of the most anticipated games ever. It's not just the developers who are relieved even the industry's favorite hero is celebrating like he's finally delivered that important letter.
Sir Hans Capon Hosts a Grand Celebratory Feast
Luke Dale who played Hans Capon in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is excited that GTA 6 has been delayed until next year. This gives his game a better chance of winning Game of the Year. It still has tough competition from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 but a big rival has been removed from the running.
Dale tweeted WE’RE IN WITH A SHOT! GOTY! after Rockstar announced the delay. He might be downplaying his own game since Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is likely a strong contender for GOTY at least for me. Plus a new DLC is coming soon which could boost its chances even more.
Dale might want to check out Clair Obscur. Sandfall Interactive’s RPG is breaking records. It sold a million copies in one day has the highest ratings of 2025 and is the top-rated game ever on Metacritic. Even French president Emmanuel Macron praised the studio.
