Persona 5 The Phantom X Release Date Announced Coming Soon to Steam

Atlus says Persona 5 The Phantom X will come out in June. The free JRPG game will be on Steam and let you keep your progress on different devices.

After Metaphor Refantazio many people wonder when Persona 6 will come out. But Atlus is still working on Persona 5. They made a new game called Persona 5: The Phantom X. It is a JRPG that will be free to play on PC worldwide in June. Before it was only available in China, Taiwan and South Korea. This game takes place in Tokyo again with new characters called the Phantom Thieves. The main character has the codename Wonder. You will also see some familiar characters like Joker in the game.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is a new game in the Persona 5 series. You play as a new hero who makes a group called the Phantom Thieves. The game is a bit different from the old ones but it still has many of the same things. You go to school do part-time jobs and join clubs like music or soccer to get better. You also make friends with other people in Tokyo. People feel sad and lost and you need to help them change their hearts.

Your main job as a new Phantom Thief is to explore dark places called palaces and dungeons. You collect and level up your Personas there. The game works like the original Persona 5 you can sneak around to get an edge and battles are turn-based like a classic RPG. Mementos is back and there’s a new mode called The Velvet Trials. There is also a guild feature where you can connect and play with other players.

You are the main character Wonder and you can choose your name. Your team includes Lufel a strange owl-like creature called Cattle Motoha Arai a sporty second-year student nicknamed Closer Shun Kano a shy classmate who works at a ramen shop and is called Soy and Riko Tanemura a top student in her third year known as Wind.

You fight alongside Phantom Idols. These are like mental images of people the main character meets every day. They are brought into the game world by a character named Merope from the Velvet Room. You can see Yui also called Bui and get a quick look at ten other Phantom Idols you can add to your team as you play. The game company Atlus says this lets your friends help you in battles.

As you get closer to people in the free Steam game using the Synergy System you will find new stories. Like in Persona games you can meet different characters around town including Joker and the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5. They will invite you to join events play mini-games and take on special tasks.

Persona 5: The Phantom X will come out everywhere on Thursday, June 26. It is a free game you can play on PC and phones. You can play on different devices and keep your progress. You can add it to your wishlist now. Because 200,000 people signed up early the main character will get a special outfit. If 300,000 people sign up you will get more cool items like avatar frames and profile cards.
