It’s similar to Dead By Daylight with a clever twist several victims try to escape from three killers each with special skills. The developer, Gun worked hard to make the game look and feel like the original 1974 movie. While many games based on movies are low-effort this one stands out like Alien Isolation. Now almost two years after its release the game is complete. Gun says it has reached its full potential.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game came out in August 2023. Since then. it has kept a mostly positive rating on Steam and reached up to 16,000 players online at the same time. In our review Danielle gave it 8 out of 10 saying she liked the beautiful maps varied gameplay and unique 4v3 balance.

It's hard to stand out in multiplayer horror games. Big games like Dead By Daylight. The Outlast Trials and The Forest are already very popular. Other games like Evil Dead and Killer Klowns From Outer Space have had a tough time getting noticed.

Gun says that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game will stay online and the community team will still talk with players. But after one last update coming later this month. they won’t make any more changes or updates to the game.
