Marvel Rivals Event Free Skins & Revived Battle Pass

Marvel Rivals Galacta's Gift event gives you a free historic skin and another chance to buy the Season 0 battle pass.

Sometimes I’m shocked by how old my favorite games are but Marvel Rivals is the opposite. it feels new and full of content. I even forgot it's only been out for a few months. Now the developers, NetEase are reminding us it’s still new by celebrating the one-year anniversary of the game's first public test. To mark the occasion they’re launching a special event called Galacta’s Gift. It gives players a chance to earn free rewards including a costume and brings back the game’s first battle pass for people to buy again.

Players have been asking for another chance to get the Season 0 battle pass in Marvel Rivals. Even though the game lets you unlock battle pass rewards at your own pace once you buy them there are good reasons why some people missed out on Season 0.

There are a few reasons why players might have missed out on things in Season 0 of Marvel Rivals. First the season was very short only about a month long since it was just a test run. Future seasons are planned to last about three months. Second some players joined after Season 0 ended. So they didn’t get the limited-time items from that season. Third people were cautious at first. Even though the game was popular right away. free games don’t always last. So many players didn’t want to spend money on in-game items for a game they weren’t sure they’d stick with.

Marvel Rivals is doing better now. So spending money on skins and premium battle passes doesn't feel as risky as before. Because of this The short but enjoyable Season 0 battle pass is coming back.

Once the Galacta's Gift update is released. the Season 0 Battle Pass will be sold for 590 Lattice NetEase says. It also confirmed that there won't be a free version it's a paid-only option.

The Galacta's Gift event offers several chances to get free rewards just by playing the game. You can earn items like Nameplates, Sprays, Chrono Shield Cards and a Costume Coin. The Costume Coin allows you to unlock a debut costume for any of the 33 heroes in Season 0. This is a nice bonus because it lets you keep a piece of your favorite hero's history in your costume collection.

The Galacta's Gift event and the chance to buy the Season 0 battle pass will start on Thursday, May 15 at 2am PDT / 5am EDT / 10am BST / 11am CEST and will end on Thursday, May 29 at 2am PDT / 5am EDT / 10am BST / 11am CEST.
