Grinding Gear Games shared details about Path of Exile 2 update 0.2.0h. which includes a lot of helpful improvements for players.
Path of Exile 2's time in Steam Early Access has been challenging. While the game is very popular many of the changes made by the developers have caused some disagreements. The endgame has been closely watched as it continues to change. Now with the update 0.2.0h the developers are introducing big improvements that will be arriving soon.
Grinding Gear Games recently shared details about upcoming updates for Path of Exile 2 in patch 0.2.0h. These updates focus mainly on the endgame and overall quality of life improvements. This is one of the biggest updates so far with the developers focusing a lot on making the endgame experience better. Some of these changes were mentioned before. but now we’re getting more details.
Grinding Gear Games is making some changes to Breaches in the action RPG. In the past too many monsters would spawn in small spaces which caused problems. Now with the latest update the way monsters appear in Breaches is being improved to make it more reliable. The minimum experience for each encounter is also going up. Additionally the shortest time for a Breach is now 20 seconds and killing Magic or Rare enemies will add more time compared to killing regular enemies.
Earlier, we talked about dropping fewer stacks of Breach Splinters in bigger amounts. but now we are making a bigger change GGG explains. Instead of that we'll collect all the Breach Splinters dropped during a Breach fight and give them to you at the end of the Breach. If you're in a party the drops will be divided into random stacks.
Grinding Gear Games is adding two new stash tabs in PoE 2. The Ritual Stash Tab will store Omens and Audience with the King Fragments. The Socketable Stash Tab will hold Runes, Talismans and Soul Cores and let you upgrade your runes without needing a Reforging Bench. These stash tabs will be available in the microtransaction store after patch 0.2.0h is released.
In simple terms GGG acknowledges that there are still some problems with loot drops. In their upcoming update (0.2.0h) they plan to make Perfect Jeweller's Orbs and Level 20 Uncut Skill and Spirit Gems drop more often. While these items will still be rare players often reached the endgame before they found even one of them.
Grinding Gear Games (GGG) has shared plans for changes to Shrines. The Greed and Corrupting Shrines are being removed because they didn't provide much value. They are making rarer Shrines like Diamond and Divine appear more often so players can enjoy their benefits faster. Additionally the duration of almost all Shrines has been increased with some lasting up to 90 seconds.
If you’ve had trouble finding Rogue Exiles don’t worry GGG has made it easier to spot them. They now appear more often on the screen before their health bar shows up. So you won’t be left guessing who has a big health bar. Rogue Exiles also have brighter lights around them and show up on the minimap when they are fighting making it much easier to see them.
To finish the 0.2.0h updates GGG is improving how Azmerian Wisps work when you have two active at the same time. They are also making the Spirit of the Spring Hare and Spirit of the Fox more common three times as much to make their outcomes more exciting and rewarding.
Grinding Gear Games hopes to release Path of Exile 2 version 0.2.0h by the end of this week. So it should be available by Friday, May 16.
