Enshrouded Survival RPG Unveils Massive Creepy Update

The new Enshrouded update Thralls of Twilight adds new enemies, creepy visuals and lots of cool new features to the survival game.

In 2024. many new survival games came out and one of the best was Enshrouded. Although it doesn’t get much attention it stands out as a mix of survival and fantasy RPG. Even though it's still in early access the game has been updating quickly and adding lots of exciting features. Its latest update brings in new mechanics and some spooky horror-like elements.

The title Thralls of Twilight suggests a dark fantasy theme. Enshrouded changes the survival game with creepy new enemies more gameplay at night new ways to customize and thick fog that will remind Silent Hill fans of the eerie atmosphere.

In Thralls of Twilight you'll face six new enemies. Some are just updated versions of old ones while others are completely new. One of them is the Depthdweller a giant jellyfish-like creature that shoots smaller versions of itself at you. These enemies are pretty creepy and the place they live is even scarier. That's because the Shroud the fog that covers the land has been updated. It's now thicker and harder to get through. Also new lighting effects create beautiful beams of light that cut through the fog adding to the spooky atmosphere.

In this update nighttime gameplay has been improved. Now there are more enemies roaming around at night looking for rare items and resources that you’ll want to beat them to. Special plants that only grow at night have also been added giving you another reason to explore after dark. You’ll also find new Night Temples scattered across all areas of Enshrouded. These temples can only be accessed at night and offer valuable rewards. but watch out for traps you’ll need to avoid to get the loot.

In combat and survival things have been improved. New resources can be found in the Shroud. which can be used to make items like confusion grenades and mobile repair kits to fix weapons in the field.

There is a new Gems system that helps you make your weapons stronger. Gems are dropped by tough enemies and have special effects that improve your weapons. Some high-level weapons come with a Gem slot where you can place these Gems. However you can only add Gems at a special place called the Gem Forge Which is hidden in the Shroud.

Now you can change your character's hairstyle thanks to a new barber named Elio. To unlock him. you need to finish a quest and bring him to your settlement. After that you can visit him anytime for a fresh haircut. Another new feature is Armor Tinting which allows you to change the color of your armor. You can make or find color palettes and then apply them to your armor at a new station in your base.
